Statement relating to my Minecraft cape
In 2015 my spiritual predecessor was part of the convention staff at Minecon London and as a result I had the "fortune" of being able to redeem a convention-specific cape to my Minecraft account. Unfortunately this has turned out to be more of an irritating curse than a benefit.
Ever since I redeemed the cape I have regularly had people asking if they can buy my Minecraft account off me, trying to scam it away from me, faking my Minecraft account being for sale, asking if I have any spare unredeemed cape codes from the convention, trying to get me to join Discord servers related to Minecraft, etc.
I am frankly very fed up with this.
Due to the large number of messages I receive regarding this topic, I have created this page to clarify the situation and avoid confusion.
My account is not for sale and will never be put up for sale. The number of reasons for this is pretty extensive and also none of your business. Quite frankly I would expect this to be obvious but apparently not.
I am also NOT in possession of any unredeemed cape codes (and even if I was, Mojang have now deactivated the unredeemed codes, so they wouldn't work).
